Thank you for sharing this, CebolaGrande! We are aware of this and want to incorporate features within the portal that better manages transactions. Until then, there are web extensions that you can use to see tx prices.

traditionally sundays were good for low gas fees...and can use alerts https://ethgas.watch/ to know when gas prices drop below your settings
