Choice to exclude early withdrawal
Herr Rossi
It would be great if we could chose to exclude early withdrawal. In the light of the Ledger breach, this could really lock the tokens and make them more secure during physical attacks. Only as an option, because early withdrawal might on the other hand be great for other people who look for more flexibility.

Thanks for the feedback, Herr. In this suggestion, would there be additional incentives for a user to exclude early withdrawal?
Dieter Li
Victoria van Heerden: As for me, would be ok to have it just as an additional feature, no extra reward.
Herr Rossi
Victoria van Heerden: Like Dieter Li I don't think that there should be any incentive for or against an exclusion of early withdrawal. It's more to give people a choice of what they prefer.

Victoria van Heerden: Extra incentives are always nice, at the end of the day we are in this to make money. Both me and IC.
So if excluding my stakes from any chance of early withdrawal would earn me a extra multiplier on my entire hard-frozen stake I would certainly consider it.
But IC would have to make sure that whatever incentives are being payed out solely come from the extra gains IC could generate from these hard-frozen stakes.
In no way should this extra option affect current behaviour and performance of the regular stake mechanism otherwise it could backfire.
With all this being said:
In general I would like to have the option to tick a checkbox on selected investments / stakes of mine that I consider long term and the effect would be that these assets become excluded from regular interaction on the IC portal unless I contact IC to get them unlocked again.
A process similar to ICs "I lost access to portal / 2FA / wallet pw" in order to unlock these funds for regular interaction again would render my long terms nearly unhackable while still allowing me to easily interact with my short terms.
This could even carry a fixed service fee of 10$ per request or something.

Nicolás el Calamari: this is a great idea for peace of mind.
